About the Role
We're looking for a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team onsite at our Retail Ready Operations (RROA) meat processing facility. In this role, you'll help ensure our production equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently across a 24/7 environment. You'll support planned and proactive maintenance activities, drive improvements in plant performance, and partner closely with operations, planning and engineering teammates to reduce downtime, improve asset health and optimise maintenance standards.
* Support proactive, predictive and preventative maintenance activities to improve equipment performance
* Analyse downtime, asset condition and failure modes to identify improvement opportunities
* Collaborate with engineering, reliability, quality and production teams to deliver safe, reliable plant performance
About You and Your Skills
You'll bring strong technical capability, practical problem‑solving skills and experience within maintenance or engineering environments—ideally high‑speed food manufacturing. You understand CMMS systems, reliability principles and continuous improvement methods, and you're comfortable working on a busy operational site where safety, communication and teamwork are critical.
* Experience in maintenance engineering, asset optimisation and root cause analysis (RCA)
* Knowledge of CMMS systems (MEX / Maximo / SAP) and exposure to food safety, HACCP and safety systems such as LOTO
* Trade or tertiary engineering qualifications (mechanical or electrical desirable), plus experience improving equipment reliability
