Our client, a large Federal Government Department responsible for signals intelligence, providing intelligence support to Australian military operations, conducting cyberwarfare and ensuring information security, are looking for a Technical Writer on a long term contract.
Duties of the Technical Writer:
* Produce high‐quality design, configuration, technical support, and training documentation for CRM and RC projects.
* Develop a broad range of artefacts, from highly technical system and infrastructure documentation to plain‐English user guides and training materials.
* Collaborate closely with project technical teams to develop system and solution design documentation.
* Technical reference and configuration materials.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Demonstrated experience producing high‐quality online software documentation, with exceptional ability to write clear, plain, user‐centred English.
* Proven capability to deliver both explanatory and procedural content tailored to multiple audiences (technical, semi‐technical, and non‐technical).
* Strong skill in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible explanations without loss of accuracy.
* Technical Skills Required - Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Microsoft Office suite and Atlassian suite (Confluence and Jira).
