About the role
As a member of the Business Partnering team, you'll play a key role supporting managers and employees across selectability's footprint. You'll deliver end‐to‐end generalist HR support and provide trusted advice across the employee lifecycle, helping leaders build strong, capable teams.
Your responsibilities include:
* End‐to‐end recruitment, including advertising roles, screening candidates and coordinating interviews
* Supporting onboarding and preparing employment contracts
* Coordinating performance reviews and supporting performance management processes
* Advising leaders through employee relations matters, including grievances and exits
* Ensuring compliance with industrial relations legislation and internal policies
* Supporting employee learning, development and competency management
* Working closely with leaders and the broader HR team to deliver consistent, best‐practice outcomes
About you
You're a confident HR professional who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships. You're organised, discreet, and comfortable handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
You'll bring:
* Demonstrated experience in a generalist human resources role
* Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act and relevant employment legislation
* Experience in community mental health, NDIS or aged care (highly desirable)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Well‐rounded administration and systems experience
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence supporting difficult or complex workplace conversations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
* Experience using HR databases (PageUp highly desirable)
* A genuine interest in progressing your career within human resources
Role requirements
* Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
* Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: 'Quality, Safety & You'
* HR qualifications will be highly regarded
