Public Sector Recruitment Partner | Engineering, Construction and Project Management
BENEFITS

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Senior Project Officer in local council, you will be responsible for providing effective project management and site representation across a range of construction and maintenance projects, including direct management of contract works, and providing support to Project Managers in daily tasks, including scheduling meetings, organising resources, and tracking project progress.
DUTIES
* Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of construction and maintenance projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and evaluation.
* Coordination: Work with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, and community representatives.
* Reporting: Prepare and present project reports to management, council members, and the public.
* Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline, and tracking project costs.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards and project requirement
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor of Construction Management/Civil Engineering or a related field
* General Construction Induction Card (white card)
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
