Cellar Door & Marketing Assistant About the Role
This unique role combines customer-facing hospitality with hands-on marketing support at our boutique Barossa Valley winery. You will play an important part in delivering memorable cellar door experiences while also contributing to the growth of our digital presence.
The successful candidate will assist with wine tastings, cellar door operations, and help create engaging content across our social media and marketing channels.
Please note: Applicants for the full-time position must have a minimum of 1 year of cellar door experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Hosting wine tastings and delivering warm, professional customer service
* Assisting with day-to-day cellar door operations and sales
* Creating and managing content for social media platforms
* Supporting website updates and email marketing campaigns
* Assisting with event setup and coordination at the winery
* Contributing to the growth and engagement of our Wine Club
Requirements
* Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or willingness to obtain
* A genuine passion for wine, hospitality, and customer experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer literacy and confidence using digital tools
* Interest in marketing, social media, or content creation is highly desirable
* Cash handling
Training Provided
Successful applicants will receive training in:
* ChatGPT (AI-assisted content creation)
* Now Book It (reservation management system)
* Canva (graphic design for marketing materials)
* Social media management
* Website content management
Working Hours
* Permanent Part-Time: Minimum 29 hours per week (Wednesday – Saturday)
* Full-Time Option: Tuesday – Saturday
