PERMACAST is looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to support financial operations, reporting and compliance across the business.
This role offers genuine variety, strong visibility across operations, and the flexibility to balance work and life — including one work-from-home day per week once onboarding and probation are complete.
The Role
Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
BAS preparation and support for monthly reporting and board packs
Journal processing, month-end and year-end support
Cash flow monitoring, budgeting and cost analysis
Accounts receivable, invoicing and debtor management
Credit card and expense reconciliations
Payroll approval and related journals
Supporting financial controls and continuous improvement initiatives
This is a broad role ideal for someone who enjoys owning their work, improving processes, and being involved across all areas of finance.
About You
Degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA qualified or working towards desirable)
Strong reconciliation skills and solid technical accounting knowledge
Experience with BAS, financial reporting, and budgeting
Understanding of payroll accounting and employee cost allocations
High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused approach
Experience in manufacturing, construction or project-based environments (preferred)
Experience with Pronto is a bonus, not a requirement
