Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care to paediatric and neonatal patients
* Participate in on-call roster, providing acute and emergency support
* Lead and mentor junior doctors and contribute to their professional development
* Support service improvement, governance, and clinical innovation
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the region
* Provide outreach clinics to surrounding regional and remote communities
* Uphold culturally safe, equitable care for Aboriginal children and families
About You
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, or equivalent
* AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
* Strong expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine
* Experience and interest in neonatal care, developmental paediatrics, and community health
* A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching, supervising and mentoring junior doctors
* Resilience, adaptability, and confidence in managing complex or remote-care scenarios
* A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children
* Enthusiasm for regional practice and the lifestyle benefits it offers
