Job Summary:
* A heavy earth moving plant technician is required to work in a large open cut mining operation in NSW Hunter Valley.
* Safe maintenance of equipment is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and reducing downtime.
About This Role
The role requires maintaining and repairing a variety of plant and equipment, including haul trucks, watercarts, dozers & loaders. A high level of quality auto electrical work on machines will also be expected. This includes diagnosis, repair and maintenance tasks to reduce faults and breakdowns.
* Maintenance responsibilities include checking vehicles for any signs of wear or damage prior to use or during normal operations as part of routine vehicle checks.
