IT Systems Support Officer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to join our Information Technology team as an IT Systems Support Officer.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality technical support to staff and residents across our network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing level 1 and 2 IT support, escalating incidents where required, and liaising with third-party vendors. They will also administer and support Desktop, Linux, and Windows environments, maintain knowledge base documentation, and manage procurement and equipment logistics.
In addition, the IT Systems Support Officer will contribute to IT initiatives and organisational projects, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds agreed SLAs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and outstanding customer service skills. They will also have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide responsive level 1 and 2 IT support across the organisation.
* Escalate incidents where required and liaise with third-party vendors.

Requirements
* ITIL Foundation Certification (advanced levels highly regarded).
* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Fundamentals.
* Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a helpdesk or similar IT support role.
* Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and support a wide range of IT systems.
* Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Outstanding customer service skills (phone, remote, and face-to-face).
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
