The Role:
You'll be working in a Field Service capacity, diagnosing faults, carrying out breakdowns and scheduled maintenance across heavy mining equipment while representing the contractor on site.
Key responsibilities include:
* Diagnostics, breakdowns and planned maintenance
* Working on large‐scale mining fleets including excavators, haul trucks, dozers and ancillary gear
* Maintaining high safety standards on site
* Building strong relationships with site personnel
* Representing the business in a professional Field Service capacity
What You'll Need:
You'll be the type of tradesperson who can hit the ground running - confident diagnosing faults, liaising with clients, and working safely and efficiently out in the field.
* Australian‐recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate (Heavy Vehicle highly regarded)
* Experience with major mining OEMs (Liebherr, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu) - Preferred
* Strong safety focus, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently
* Ability to work independently in a Field Service environment
* Able to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
