Lead Operational Services Manager Role
The General Services Manager Roster Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity to take on a critical leadership role in overseeing various non-clinical aspects. This includes Catering, Cleaning, Laundry and Maintenance.
This role contributes significantly to the overall quality of life and well-being of residents, while ensuring the smooth operation of the residence.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff rostering, creating and assigning shifts to cover operational needs.
* Catering and Dining Services: Managing the provision of meals and dietary services, ensuring residents receive nutritious and balanced meals according to their dietary requirements and preferences.
* Environmental Management: Overseeing a team of Cleaners and Laundry Attendants, ensuring cleaning and laundry services meet high standards.
* Maintenance Management: Ensuring maintenance requests are prioritized and repairs meet resident expectations.
* Service Providers Management: Managing external contractors to ensure legislative and contractual requirements are met.
* Extra Services Management: Ensuring extra services meet Arcare's offerings, resident and family expectations, and contractual obligations.
* Budget and Resource Management: Developing and managing budgets for remit areas, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
* Staff Management: Supervising and leading non-clinical staff, ensuring proper training, performance evaluation, and staff development.
Requirements
* Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
* Comprehensive understanding of the aged care industry, including regulations, compliance requirements, best practices, and emerging trends.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Experience managing staff in Aged Care or similar industries.
