The role
We are currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team based at McArthur River Mine in the Northern Territory .
We're seeking a down-to-earth, hard-working individual to join us and develop their career as we continue to develop Roc-Drill.
You'll be entrusted with ensuring high quality work, whilst never wavering on our safety commitment.
Role Specifics
* Target commencement date of mid Jan 2026
* EVEN-time Roster 14 days on 14 days off consisting of 12-hour dayshifts and nightshifts.
* FIFO - from capital cities + site flight from Darwin
* Maintain light vehicle fleet and trucks
* Assist Drill Fitters with planned servicing and maintenance
* Must be open to future travel to alternate sites as there will be requirements to assist with LV repairs across the company
Your experience & abilities
* 2+ years working on Light Vehicles in a workshop environment onsite.
* 1+ year in the mining sector on a FIFO basis.
* Ability to complete and pass a National Police Clearance
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Australian Trade Recognised Certificate – Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology – or similar
