Coppabella Mine is located only 140km southwest of Mackay and is a Surface Mine utilizing a Dragline, Dozer and Truck and Shovel method.
What you will be Doing
You working as an experienced Production Excavator Operator within the Production Department on a coal mine near Coppabella.
You will be operating a Hitachi 5500 or CAT 6060 Excavator loading CAT 793 Dump Trucks and CAT D10 & D11 Dozers.
You will be working a 7/7 rotating roster and these roles are available for BIBO (Mackay), DIDO or residential (Moranbah) candidates.
What you will need
- Previous mining experience operating Hitachi 5500 Excavators or similar within production mining
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australian Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen & pre-employment medical
