About Us
Hi there Thanks for seeing our job ad and checking us out, we're a Wedding Photography & Videography business, who also works very closely with our sister Digital Marketing Agency, OP Digital Solutions. Before we get into the serious stuff, we wanted to introduce ourselves. Here's a few things to help you understand us a little bit better:
1. At Loved Up Creatives we use 'we' instead of 'I'. After all, teamwork makes the dream work
2. We all own dogs, so if you're a cat person, this job isn't for you (totally kidding, please apply still)
3. We have a table tennis table & pool table for some of our more competitive team members, a pantry stocked full of snacks and a Ninja Slushi machine that often gets a work out on Friday afternoon with everyone's favourite cocktails.
4. We have a no 'd***head policy' with our couples/clients, they're all great However, if you ever feel like someone has been rude, racist, discriminatory, sexist or made you feel uncomfortable, please bring it to our attention. You won't be responsible for the next steps, we'll take care of that.
5. We all love coming to work and genuinely enjoy each other's company. This is huge for us, we want an environment that makes you happy and able to flourish
6. We place good people ahead of prior roles and skills. Of course, experience is great, and we appreciate that, but we also understand that it's highly unlikely for someone to be well-versed in all of the elements that we would ideally like. So, don't rule yourself out if you're one or two points shy of the suggested requirements.

Now that we have introduced ourselves, let's outline this role and what we are looking for
Desirable Duties and Experience (again, don't rule yourself out if you're not an expert in all areas below - there's plenty of opportunity for learning and up-skilling)
* You have experience editing photos & videos with a proven portfolio of work. (Added bonus if you're also a photographer, videographer or both)
* You're a good human. Our company culture is built off of good relationships and good people, without this, we wouldn't have a business.
* You're an effective communicator. It goes a long way, both for our couples/clients and for us
* You'll need to demonstrate pretty impressive organisational skills within this role, as often there will be many different Wedding projects on the go at the once with different deadline dates to meet.
* This role would start part-time with the intention for the successful applicant to impress and turn this role into full-time when the timing is right for the business and applicant.
* The part-time role requires availability for 20-30 hours per week.
What you'll handle:
* Edit wedding photos to a consistent creative standard
* Edit wedding videos to a consistent creative standard
* Track timelines, deliverables, and keep all files organised
* Communicate with couples warmly and clearly over email and Google Meets
* Coordinate with freelance photographers and videographers over phone and email
* Review delivered work and give clear creative feedback to our internal team
What you bring:
* Photo editing experience (ideally a minimum of 1-2 years)
* Video editing experience or willingness to learn
* Strong organisation and admin habits
* Confident communication across email, calls, and internal communication channels
* A genuine love for weddings and storytelling
* A sharp creative eye for light, tone, pacing, and emotion
* Australian work rights are required for this position
Nice to haves
* Experience shooting photos or video
* Understanding of how a Wedding day runs
* Experience editing with Adobe Lightroom
* Experience editing with DaVinci Resolve
