Hays Recruitment Darwin is proud to partner with Shamrock Chemicals on a retained assignment to appoint a Client Engagement Manager.
Shamrock Chemicals is a well-established industrial chemicals manufacturer and supplier, supporting commercial and industrial clients across the Northern Territory.
This role offers full ownership of a regional territory, with a focus on building client relationships and driving revenue growth.

About the role

You will act as the face of Shamrock Chemicals in the NT market.
You will manage key accounts, build long-term partnerships, and win new business across a diverse industrial client base.

Key responsibilities

* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, build strong long-term relationships and maintain regular site engagement while identifying opportunities to increase revenue across accounts.
* Identify and secure new business across the NT by targeting key customers, generating leads through market activity and referrals, and converting opportunities into sales.
* Plan and manage weekly client activity across the territory, maintaining a clear pipeline, tracking performance against targets, and prioritising high-value opportunities.
* Prepare quotes and proposals, negotiate pricing and commercial teams, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and strong service outcomes for clients.
About you
* Proven experience in sales or client-facing roles
* Strong business development capability
* Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
* Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
* Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously
Desirable
* Experience in industrial, chemicals, or related sectors
* Exposure to field-based or territory sales
* Knowledge of the NT market
