We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven professional to take on the role of Partnership Manager. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and lead a dynamic team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing membership, sponsorship, and events portfolios. Key duties include:
 * Planning and executing race day hospitality events and non-race day events to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
 * Oversight of membership and sponsorship relations, with a focus on driving growth and expansion in both areas.
 * Developing and implementing strategies to enhance owners' race day experience, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
 * Building and maintaining community relationships with sponsors, members, and other key stakeholders.
 * Assisting with marketing strategies to boost club visibility and event attendance, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
 * Providing support with budget development and administration functions for events and race day hospitality, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
 * Managing and rostering hospitality staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
 * Procuring and managing stock, establishing and maintaining supplier relationships.
 * Managing sponsorships, memberships, and The Derby Club members, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
 * A proven track record in customer relations, stakeholder management, hospitality, or a related field, demonstrating your ability to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
 * A strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
 * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
 * Ability to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation, as well as relevant hospitality experience (desired but not essential).
 * A growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
 * Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required, on a rotational basis.
