About The Role

This is a key office-based position supporting the Management team with the day-to-day operations of our commercial HVAC service business. The role focuses on coordination, leadership, and operational oversight to ensure efficient service delivery and excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the operations team and subcontractors.
  • Schedule, dispatch and coordinate HVAC technicians across multiple client sites throughout Victoria.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand service requirements and coordinate site visits
  • Monitor, track and manage the progress of service jobs to ensure timely and efficient completion
  • Provide regular and professional updates to clients regarding job status, delays, or changes
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, assets, contracts, and maintenance schedules
  • Order parts, assist with troubleshooting, and elevate complex issues when required
  • Identify opportunities to optimise service delivery, workflows, and client satisfaction
  • Assist with basic quoting and support management with complex quote preparation
  • Helping shape the future growth and direction of the business

About You / What We're Looking For

  • Strong HVAC experience in commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to multitask and prioritise
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and technicians
  • Commercially minded, able to manage team workflow and service contracts
  • Technical HVAC knowledge and quoting experience
  • Team player who thrives in a positive, easy-going office environment
  • Solid technical understanding of HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues and make informed service decisions
  • A strong desire to build better systems, improve efficiencies, and streamline processes
  • Confidence using technology, job management systems, apps, and cloud-based platforms. Experience with SimPRO a plus.
  • Experience in Building management systems (BMS) and HVAC control systems would be a plus.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a leadership, operations, or management role within a trade or service-based business
  • Experience managing both field staff and project/job workflow
  • Current Refrigeration, Electrical or Plumbing trade licence in Victoria
  • Strong understanding of WHS requirements, compliance, and best practices
  • Experience using job management software and operational systems
