Horticulture, Conservation and Landscaping Specialist
Join a growing local business making Adelaide greener and more sustainable.
Love being outdoors and want your work to actually change a city?
Join Urban Renew and help create greener, cooler, healthier streets and parks across Adelaide.
This isn't just gardening — you'll be caring for rain gardens, biofilters and tree pits, planting new landscapes, and jumping in on light construction that brings WSUD and streetscape projects to life.
You'll move between sites, work in small friendly teams, meet great people, and see the impact of your work every day.
If you've got horticulture or landscaping skills (or solid experience), a good attitude, and a licence, we want to meet you.
We offer supportive crew, hands-on training, real career growth, and the chance to make Adelaide a better place — one project at a time.
About Us
We are a small but growing Adelaide and Sydney-based company specialising in Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), streetscape maintenance, and landscape construction for local councils and developers.
WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design) refers to environmentally sustainable landscaping practices that manage stormwater and integrate green infrastructure — similar to natural assets or green infrastructure.
Our projects help create resilient, healthy, and attractive urban environments by combining horticulture, landscaping, and water management principles.
As demand for our services grows, we're looking for a dedicated Horticulture/Conservation maintenance and Landscaping Specialist to join our team full-time and help deliver high-quality work across Adelaide's public spaces and urban landscapes.
Role: Horticulture/Conservation maintenance and Landscaping Specialist

Assist with light construction and landscape works for local council and development projects.
Represent the company in a professional manner during site work and client interactions.
Work flexibly to meet project requirements — occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend work may be required.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and values sustainability.
You will ideally have:
Qualification in horticulture, conservation, landscaping, or garden maintenance, OR 3 Years experience in similar role
A reliable, proactive approach and a strong work ethic
