In this role you will be assisting in the marketing, estimating, planning, design and delivery of complex and significant industrial closure project tenders. You will work with a blue-chip client base and a growing workbook of high-profile projects across the region.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Follow Business Estimation Process ensuring accurate estimation and timely response for tenders.
• Knowledge and application of relevant Australian Standards relevant to Civil Engineering.
• Work to the guidelines of CMA's triple certified QSE management systems.
• Collect tender information and requirements – Scope, Time, Cost, QA, HR, Communication, Risk and Procurement requirements.
• Work with Operations Manager, Project Manager & General Manager for tender requirements,
• Interpretation and interrogation of drawings.
• Define Scope and Work Breakdown Structure – use of BOQ, drawings, measure
• Develop detailed program and estimate costs breakdowns
• Risk assessment and management construction methods.
• Project Handover to Project Teams (Scope, Program, Method, Budget etc)
• Communicate with key stakeholders through tender process
• Issue RFT to subcontractors and suppliers to obtain budget
• Attend Tender Interview and Site Inspection as required.
• Assist in in the Seek/Search for works in construction, demolition, recycling and civil construction, to create opportunity for tender and business for Delta Group.
• Subcontractor Tender interviews
• Assist senior management as required for CMA operations in Australia and Overseas (this may involve works outside tendering)
To succeed in this role:
You will have a range of skills and attributes, including:
• A Class C Drivers Licence
• Relevant construction related qualifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Passion for people and their safety.
• Demonstrated communication skills - verbal and written.
• High level decision making and problem-solving skills
• Proven capacity to multi-task.
• High level proficiency in most Microsoft Office 365 packages with a strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and follow up.
• Strong communication and inter-personnel skills
• Computer literate with typing speed and accuracy
