Our tax practice
Our Australian tax controversy practice is a market leader. Its leader, Dr Niv Tadmore, is recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific as Band 1. The clients it serves are leading multinationals across a variety of industries including tech, energy & resources, gig economy, consumer products and global services. The practice is well-known in in Australia and globally for its high profile cases, depth of experience and ability to resolve intricate and large-scale disputes. The practice deals with disputes across the tax spectrum with a particular focus on international tax including transfer pricing, Diverted Profits Tax, embedded royalties, IP migration, hybrid mismatch, permanent establishment, source taxation and tax treaty issues.

About you
We are seeking a highly motivated tax lawyer who likes controversy work, has ample energy and enthusiasm and is after the unique stimulation and challenge of the cases that we work on. Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of our cohesive, supportive and dynamic team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 2-5 years' experience in tax (preferably with some experience in tax controversy);
* a mindset that fits with our high performing, inclusive, supportive and team-based culture;
* strong initiative and ability to think "outside the box";
* exceptional attention to detail and project management skills; and
* an enthusiastic and can-do style
