This is a great opportunity for a qualified lifeguard who values water safety, loves working with people, and wants to keep the community safe in our facilities.
The Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly lifeguard to join our team. Our lifeguards are responsible for the day-to-day pool operations within our facility, ensuring that all areas in and around our pools are safe and enjoyable for all patrons.
You should have a passion for water safety, be energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun. Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence are essential to ensure our patrons enjoy their visit safely every time.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent verbal communication skills
Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certificate
National Police Check
Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded but not essential
Current Pool Operations Certificate is also highly regarded but not essential
