Senior Accountant Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to manage the full financial accounting cycle, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
* Managing the month-end process from reconciliations and accruals to preparing insightful financial reports
* Partnering with stakeholders to strengthen financial controls and decision-making processes
* Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining asset and capital investment projects
* Contributing to ongoing cash flow management and process improvements
About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Finance Business Partner. Your focus will be on managing the financial accounting cycle, including reconciliations and accruals, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of insightful financial reports and KPI analysis
* Management of budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning
* Compliance with statutory obligations, including BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax, Workcover, and superannuation submissions
* Strengthening financial controls and decision-making processes through collaboration with key stakeholders
* Maintenance of asset and capital investment projects
* Cash flow management and process improvement initiatives
