* Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
* Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464 to $142,665 plus superannuation and leave loading

The Lead, Corporate Recruitment is a critical leadership role within the People Group, responsible for leading recruitment delivery of Public Service Non-Executive roles across complex and high-volume portfolios. The role combines operational leadership with strategic improvement, requiring someone who can confidently manage recruitment delivery while also driving change, uplifting capability and improving overall performance across the function.

This role plays a key part in supporting workforce outcomes across the Department by ensuring recruitment services are efficient, responsive and aligned to business needs.

About the role

* Lead a high-volume end-to-end recruitment function supporting critical workforce outcomes across the Department
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, candidate experience and service delivery
* Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and provide trusted advice on recruitment strategy, workforce planning and operational priorities
* Lead, coach and uplift a recruitment team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes in a fast-paced environment
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve performance and embed scalable ways of working across recruitment operations
* Manage competing priorities and complex recruitment activity while maintaining strong governance, compliance and service standards

About you

* Proven experience leading end-to-end recruitment within large, complex and high-volume environments
* A confident and credible communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at executive level
* Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement, leading change initiatives and delivering measurable operational outcomes
* Strong leadership capability, with a track record of building high-performing, accountable and customer-focused teams
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery in fast-paced and evolving environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
* Experience managing competing priorities, complex stakeholder needs and high-volume workloads while maintaining quality outcomes
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with pride in delivering high-quality work and achieving results
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

* Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology or a relevant discipline
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
