Ord River Electrics is seeking a motivated administration officer to join our team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

About Us:

Ord River Electrics is a local, family-owned business who has been operating in Kununurra for 29 years. We are committed to providing our clients with a high-level professional service. We take pride in each project we complete and are dedicated to quality work, prompt service and responsible workmanship. We have forged a strong reputation as trusted electricians in the Kimberley.

The role will be very diverse providing administrative support to staff and management.

Key Responsibilities;

· Answering correspondence, phone calls, emails, mail, customer & website enquiries

· Prepare jobs in the online software system, liaise with staff and clients to schedule

· Data entry – accounts payable, accounts receivable

· Arranging employee needs such as flights, accommodation, apprentices

· Employee HR – maintain and update staff records, staff enquiries

· Assisting management with project jobs

Essential Skills;

· Proficient computer skills including word, excel and outlook

· Time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi task

· Demonstrated high quality written and verbal communication skills

· Team oriented and proactive attitude

Additional Desirable Skills;

· Previous experience in accounting/bookkeeping

· Knowledge of Xero

· Knowledge of job management software

· Background in construction business
