Hourly Rate: $39.83 – $41.12 Busy Bees at Geelong West is a modern and vibrant 137-place service located at 151 Church Street, Geelong West VIC 3218. Our service is dedicated to providing high-quality education and care in a nurturing and inspiring environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Educational Leader – 2IC to support our Centre Director and lead our team in delivering excellence in early childhood education. About the Role As the Assistant Centre Director – 2IC, you will:
* Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day management of the service
* Lead and mentor Educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF
* Drive continuous improvement in line with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
* Guide programming, planning, and documentation practices across all rooms
* Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the broader community
* Support compliance, staffing coordination, and operational requirements

* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior educator role
* Current and valid Working With Children Check (Employee) – VIC
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
* Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and QIP processes
* Proven ability to mentor, support, and inspire a team
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
