The Role
We are looking for a capable and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of the financial operations of a growing Manufacturing business. You will be more than a number-cruncher; you will be a business partner to senior leadership, acting as a crucial team member for long-term financial security.
Key Responsibilities
* Fortnightly Payroll processing and STP compliance
* Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
* Lead monthly financial reporting, analysis, and variance analysis.
* Ensure accurate cash flow management and expense monitoring.
* Provide financial insights to management for operational decision -making.
* Improve internal processes for better efficiency.
* Prepare BAS, IAS, PAYG and other statutory lodgements.
* Weekly reporting to Directors
* Maintaining accurate, organised and compliant financial records.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
* Minimum of Cert 4 in Bookkeeping and Accounting
* Experience preparing and interpreting Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
* Advanced Excel skills and solid proficiency in MYOB
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with management and operational teams.
* Willing to do a Police check
