The Quality Data and ClinicalGovernance Officerplaysa critical role in improving thequality and safety ofservicesatBASScare. You willturn clinical data into clear, actionable insights thatsupportdecision-making, stronggovernance,regulatorycomplianceand continuousimprovement.
Working alongside clinical andleadership teams, you will make data meaningful,whilesupporting clinical teams to understandperformance,identifytrends, and implement practicalimprovements, and strengthen clinicalgovernance—driving real improvements incare.
KeyResponsibilities
* Collect,validateandanalyse clinical data from clinical managementsystems.
* Identifyandtranslatetrendsandrisksinto clinicalinsights and practicalimprovementopportunities.
* Prepare clear dashboards andreports for clinical teams and governancecommittees.
* PlanandorganiseClinical GovernanceOperational Committeesincludingpapers, reporting,documentation.
* Buildorganisationalcapability in using datafor improvement (e.g. basicrun charts, PDCA cycles,interpreting trend data).
* SupportcomplianceonAged Care QualityStandards and NQIP requirements.
* Provide guidanceandtraining to staffon clinical documentation anddataentry best practices.
Hours ofWork:
* Permanent FullTime
* Monday to Friday, 9am –5:06pm

You are a detail-oriented andanalytical professional who is passionate about quality, safety,andperson-centred care. You enjoy working with data, engagingwith clinicaland multidisciplinaryteams, and usingevidence to drive improvement across complexsystems.
Youbring:
* Post-secondary qualification orrelevant clinical experience in agedcare.
* Experience analysing clinicaldata using electronic health records orclinicalandqualitymanagementsystems.
* Proven ability to analyse,interpret, and critically evaluate datatoidentifyissues, inform clinical governancedecisions, and proactively drive system and processimprovements.
* Understanding of clinicalgovernance, quality improvement, and aged carestandards.
* Strong communicationskillswith the ability to present data clearlyto diversestakeholders.
* Proven ability to supportClinical Governance Committees and contribute to effectivegovernance processes.
* Knowledge ofNQIP reportingand aged care quality standards.
* Passionate and experiencedincoaching staff to enhance data quality and clinicaldocumentation practices.
