St Patrick's Community Support Centre Limited (or St Pat's as it is affectionately known) is an award-winning not-for-profit homelessness support service and community housing provider. We have been working side-by-side with vulnerable people in the South Metropolitan region of Perth for more than 50 years. Our mission is to end homelessness in our community.

About the Role
The Asset & Facilities Team Leader is responsible for leading all property services and asset management functions across St Pat’s. This includes responsive, planned, cyclical and vacated maintenance programs, contractor procurement and performance, WHS compliance, emergency response, asset reporting and managing a small team delivering property-related services.
You will build strong relationships with contractors, staff and other internal stakeholders, ensuring high quality service, proactive planning and effective operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all operational aspects of property and facilities services, including maintenance programs and day-to-day service delivery.
- Lead contractor engagement, performance monitoring, compliance and value-for-money outcomes.
- Deliver strategic asset management activities, including lifecycle planning, reporting systems and long-term budget development.
- Act as first response for property incidents and manage after-hours maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, regulatory obligations and internal policies.
- Lead, support and mentor a team, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, policies and procedures across all property and asset functions.
- Build collaborative relationships across departments to support seamless service delivery.
About You
You will be an experienced leader with a strong background in property, facilities or asset management, ideally with experience overseeing contractor programs, budgets and compliance.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar team leader or senior property role
- Solid understanding of asset management principles, building compliance and WHS obligations
- Experience managing contractors, maintenance programs and asset reporting systems
- Strong budgeting, data analysis and financial literacy skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage respectfully with diverse and vulnerable client groups
- Proven ability to lead, support and develop staff
- High levels of initiative, problem-solving ability and organizational skills
- Availability for participation in an on-call or call-out roster
