- Initial 6 month contract transitioning to perm

- Phillip Riley Projects (PRP) are a resourcing partner for leading renewable energy projects across Australia. Our team ensures the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to help develop, deliver and manage complex projects and assets in the energy sector, including wind, solar and transmission projects._

Our client is a successful Australian energy delivery services business who own and operate assets in the gas and electricity network. This role has come about due to restructure within the business to create Commercial & Pricing division servicing a number of businesses.

**The role**
- Responsibilities:_
- Ensure compliance through actively engaging with stakeholders and maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, laws,
regulations, standards, codes and company policies and procedures
- Optimise commercial and business outcomes for the Distributed Energy business through commercial and contracts management review, leading the commercial / contractual negotiations with customers.
- Develop and implement appropriate commercial and contracts risk governance for existing and recent product / service
development within the Distributed Energy portfolio to support sustainable growth and returns for the business.
- Drive effective and efficient processes for contract administration including a review and optimisation of the database
management system to ensure it is fit for purpose for future Distributed Energy's business requirements
- Support the development and implementation of systems, tools, and processes to meet required internal and external
reporting requirements with respect to operational contracts.
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the commercial approach and negotiation
strategies to enable business growth initiatives to deliver annual turnover in excess of $100M for Distributed Energy.
- About you:_
- An understanding of DER, Non-Network, and Market Aggregation solutions such as solar, battery energy storage
system (BESS), stand-alone power system (SAPS), electric vehicle charging infrastructure, power purchase agreement
(PPA), community BESS, and Demand Response (DR) (Wholesale, Ancillary Services, Emergency, and Network) in
the national electricity market (NEM).
- A relevant tertiary qualification in, commerce or associated discipline
- A minimum of 6 years commercial and/or contracts management experience
