Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hilton, SA. The Irrigation Designer will be responsible for developing custom irrigation designs to suit residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Key tasks include consulting with clients to assess their needs, creating efficient and cost-effective irrigation layouts, selecting appropriate system components, and preparing detailed drawings and documentation. The role also involves troubleshooting design concerns, collaborating with other team members, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in irrigation system design and a thorough understanding of suitable equipment, techniques, and water management principles.
* Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or other relevant tools, and the ability to create accurate technical drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members professionally.
* Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of local building regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
* Formal qualifications or demonstrated experience in horticulture, landscaping, agriculture, or a related field is desirable.
