Pharmacy Professional
The Northwest Regional Hospital pharmacy team offers high-level pharmacy services to the Northwest Regional Hospital and the Mersey Community Hospital. Pharmacists work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to deliver exceptional patient-centred care. The department is an accredited Advanced Pharmacy Australia Resident Training Program Site.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy services, including best possible medication history taking, development of medication management plans, and patient education. Pharmacists will work at various sites within the pharmacy service or at specified locations of other healthcare providers. They may be required to participate in weekend and on-call services.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the essential criteria, including registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and completion of a tertiary qualification approved by the board. Pre-registration pharmacists must be eligible for provisional registration.
