The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to support our waste service fleet and plant in Welshpool 6160. In this role you will perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of commercial waste vehicles and equipment.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday 12:30pm to 9:00pm, with weekday overtime as required.
What you'll be responsible for:
1. Service, maintain, and repair plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles in a timely manner.
2. Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand efficiently.
3. Generate work orders, purchase orders, and part requisitions daily and in full.
4. Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise of any discrepancies.
What you'll need to be successful:
5. Australian recognised Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate.
6. Proven mechanical knowledge and experience within the automotive repair industry.
7. Forklift ticket (desirable).
8. HR licence.
