Responsibilities
* Contribute to the preparation of contract claims and review financial information.
* Manage communication between Turner & Townsend and the client.
* Lead the negotiation and support the agreement of contracts with clients and project stakeholders.
* Manage project budgets, provide commercial management services, produce and present financial statements, and offer timely commercial advice.
* Monitor transaction compliance (deliverables, costs, forecasting, invoicing, etc.) and produce insightful reporting to senior executives.
* Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, identify financial and contractual risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Review and develop new processes and streamline transactional activities for continuous improvement.
* Proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop business opportunities.
* Mentor and support the professional growth of junior colleagues.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience managing the commercial aspects of complex, large‐scale, and multi‐disciplinary projects in transport and/or infrastructure.
* Between 5 and 7 years of experience in a similar role.
* A passion for delivering exceptional client service.
* A high level of attention to detail.
* Strong communication and facilitation skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
* Experience in NEC contract management is advantageous.
* Chartered membership of a relevant industry body (e.g., RICS/AIQS) is advantageous but not essential.
* A recognised degree in a technical field: Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Commercial Management, etc.
