**The Role**

You will create our brand voice for the Australian market. You'll be responsible for our brand and content strategy, sparking engagement and building trust with in our target audience.

We're a small team doing big things and you 'll be our first senior marketing hire. We believe content will be an important enabler of growth so want to invest early and have you shape how we go about owning the conversations linked to our purpose.

You will design our early stage owned, earned and paid content strategy. We're not about glossy presentations and marketing theory, we want you to deeply connect with our audience, propose how we'll reach them and resonate, then swiftly shift into execution mode to test out your hypothes es.

You will report to our Managing Director. Your direct team will include 3 Marketing Managers, covering Brand/ Partnerships, Lifecycle Marketing and Website/SEO and social. We are currently recruiting a P aid M edia S pecialist as we are bringing our paid media spending in-house.

**Your responsibilities**
- Set and deliver on a strategy and budget for the marketing and growth function to attract new customers to Kit and engage existing customers. Define the role various channels play in Kit's marketing mix (e.g. paid media, partnerships, influencer engagement)
- Lead Kit's partnership with CBA to drive acquisition outcomes for Kit across multiple domains, whether that's with CBA marketing teams, CommBank Yello recognition program, the branch network or CBA product teams.
- Lead the marketing team to execute on activities to achieve acquisition targets - across paid media, owned and earned channels.
- Manage the customer relationship platform and customer lifecycle management.
- Ensure Kit's brand (creative platform and tone of voice) is embedded into everything we do across all customer touchpoints - product, marketing, learning content, customer communications
- Immerse yourself with in our target market and customers to actively identify high potential opportunities to create advocacy, educational resources and ensure our content strategy builds our brand positioning in market around financial capability.
- Work closely with product, data and design to deliver thought leadership pieces that demonstrat e the social benefits of our venture (white papers, case studies, speaking opportunities etc.)
- Manage marketing risk and Kit's marketing RACI, in collaboration with Kit and x15 risk functions and Line 2 Risk.
- Regularly report on marketing performance to the business and how it 's contribut ing to awareness and lea d generation, as well as lessons learned and be flexible to change based on data on what's working and what's not.

**Are you the perfect match?**
- Strategic and creative thinker with a proven record of achieving results due to the planning and execution of highly effective marketing strategies.
- Deep expertise across several marketing disciplines in a B2C SaaS context : including digital marketing, content, partnerships and communications.
- Must be strongly data-driven and have experience with financial services or an equivalent highly regulated sector.
- Collaborative leadership style that influences and builds strong working relationships across a diverse range of executive colleagues, both in marketing and across business/product.
- Experience in negotiating and executing mutually beneficial external partnerships would be well regarded.
- An inspirational leader and coach/mentor to the marketing team.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Thrive on being ultimately accountable to deliver key business performance outcomes.
