Secure Banknote Strategist
The Reserve Bank of Australia's Note Issue Department is responsible for the development of new banknote designs and the supply of high-quality banknotes to meet the community's demand.
This role will focus on the ongoing $5 Redesign project to honour the culture and history of First Nations Peoples.
* Provide advice based on research and analysis, contributing to the preparation of papers, briefing notes, and reports for Senior Leaders.
* Apply writing skills, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills to support analysis and drafting of project documents.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute the objectives of Note Issue.
* Undertake analysis to inform the ongoing development of banknote strategy and policy.
* Complete a 2-year Graduate Program within the Banknote Strategy and Engagement team in Note Issue.
* Influence projects and policy that relates to the provision of secure and reliable banknotes, impacting the lives of all Australians.
We're looking for motivated graduates with strong academic achievement interested in ensuring the provision of secure and reliable banknotes.
Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be collaborative team players, and strategic thinkers driven to support good policy outcomes for Australia.
A degree with strong achievement in economics, law, or another commerce or STEM field is required. A significant research project is desirable.
You'll start this full-time role sometime in September 2025 and hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship, or New Zealand citizenship.
