The Role
Lindsay Fresh Logistics is currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join the team in Rocklea, Brisbane.
Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday - 7am starts.
Your main responsibilities will include
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving freight to and from storage areas.
- Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet
- Stabilisation equipment is used as required
- Fridge motor temperatures are set correctly & check prior to vehicle departure.
- Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution
About You
- Have a valid & current forklift licence and experience in this class
- Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience
- Have experience loading and unloading trucks
- Have refrigeration experience (preferred)
- Be reliable and punctual with positive communication skills
- Be able to adhere to transport documentation
Past experience in logistics, warehousing or transportation or experience pick packing fresh, frozen or chilled produce is well respected for this role but not essential.
To be successful for this role applicants must
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required
