Your next career opportunity As a Student Experience Officer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to foster a vibrant and cohesive science student community at the University of Melbourne. You'll support student transition and belonging, whilst facilitating programs that develop well-rounded graduates. Working within a dynamic team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and execution of engaging events and programs, placing students at the heart of everything you do. Your responsibilities will include: Program and Event Delivery: Contribute to the execution of student experience programs and events, including orientation and onboarding activities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work professionally with diverse stakeholders, guest speakers, and student groups to deliver high-quality programs. Cross-functional Teamwork: Collaborate with various Faculty teams to drive innovative, highly visible programs that meet broader Faculty goals. Event Management: Develop and execute comprehensive event management plans, including venue setup, catering coordination, and volunteer recruitment. You may be a great fit if: You are a proactive and collaborative professional with excellent organisational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a strong focus on enhancing the student experience. You may also: Have experience in event management or program delivery within a higher education setting. Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Be adaptable and open to adopting new technologies to improve workflow and program delivery. Have a passion for enhancing student experiences and fostering a sense of community.
