Duties & Responsibilities
* Providing advice on hair care products and hairstyles
* Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
* Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
* Shaving & trimming beards and moustaches
* Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments
* Arranging appointments and collecting payments
* Provide a consistent experience across all services including haircuts, shaves and beard services
* Open the shop in the morning and complete open admin tasks
* End of day close/cash reconciliation & handling
Skills & Experience Required
* Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent experience
* Minimum 1 year experience
* Competent in all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling, as well as all shave and beard services
* Understand what is current in the industry
* A basic understanding of upselling techniques/retail offering
* A positive and respectful attitude
* Leadership qualities
Salary Range: $76,515 to $80,000
