Key duties and responsibilities
Staff are required to have knowledge of and compliance with relevant ASA legislative requirements, government decision-making, and policy frameworks.
Required Skills
* Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in government procurement (Commonwealth), specifically in preparing and reviewing procurement documents such as approval documents, requests for quotes, evaluation reports, work orders, and purchase orders.
* Proven experience leading and managing procurement processes, including ICT assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting.
* Experience in developing and managing supplier contracts and resolving problems using vendor and procurement management expertise.
* Knowledge and experience of government procurement legislation and organizational policies to conduct ICT vendor management.
* Ability to prepare procurement documentation, undertake sourcing strategies, and support evaluation and client contract negotiations.
* Experience in analyzing cloud spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost optimization strategies.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Understanding of the commercial IT environment.
* Must hold and maintain a minimum NV1 security clearance.
* Must satisfy a Nuclear Mindset Suitability Assessment (NMSA).
