Overview
Our client URGENTLY requires a Civil Engineer for a 5 months + Contract in Nerang.
In the role of Engineer (Civil), with supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff, you will manage the assessment of multiple road infrastructure projects by third parties through the provision of extensive technical expertise and support to the assessment. In doing this you will ensure effective coordination of key operational activities and resources associated with project management and process development.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering input into the services and advice on technical issues related to development control and third-party activities that would impact on the road network program.
Undertake assessments of third-party applications seeking approval to conduct an activity or install infrastructure in a State Controlled Corridor.
Monitor and audit third party works, ensuring construction and compliance with development assessment and access permits and consideration of its impact on the road network operations.
Contribute to the assessment and technical design review of activities relating to the State-controlled Road network.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
