The Role
You will assist in delivering specialised hygiene cleaning services for commercial equipment and facilities.
Typical duties include:
* Cleaning and sanitising cool rooms, fridges, dishwashers and ice machines
* Mould and bacteria contamination control
* Cleaning Air Handling Units and air conditioning systems
* Detailed commercial kitchen hygiene cleaning
* Exhaust canopy and duct cleaning
* Following strict hygiene and safety procedures aligned with ISO22000 standards
Full training will be provided.
Pay & Benefits
* $35 per hour (above award rate)
* Penalty rates for after-hours work
* Higher pay rate may be offered after the probation period based on performance
* Uniform and training provided
* A company vehicle and fuel card may be provided after the probation period
* Work within a small professional team
Working Hours
* Standard hours 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
A large portion of the work must be carried out after hours, as many clients require cleaning when kitchens and equipment are not in use.
Applicants must be willing and available to regularly work evenings and after hours.
* Occasional Saturday work
* Work involves travel throughout Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter regions
Driving between jobs is a normal part of this role and is included within the hourly rate paid.
This role will not suit someone looking for strictly daytime work.
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role that can be physically demanding.
The work may involve:
* Lifting equipment
* Working in confined spaces
* Working at heights
Applicants must therefore be reasonably fit and capable of performing manual work.

* Full Driver Licence
* Police Check
* Working With Children Check
* Flu vaccination
* White Card (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
* Full working rights in Australia
Advantageous:
* Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
* Food Handling Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
Location Requirement
Applicants must live within the Central Coast or Lake Macquarie region due to the travel requirements of the role.
