We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our busy Emergency Department with advanced clinical skills for management of acutely unwell patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.
Day to day duties for this role will include (but not be limited to):
* Delivery of exceptional patient care, demonstrating a high level of skill in clinical decision making and hands-on care for acute coronary, respiratory, and medical conditions.
* Applying clinical assessment procedures to evaluate health status and identify timely interventions to improve patient outcomes.
* Identifying deteriorating patients, escalating interventions promptly, and seeking input from clinical peers, Medical Officers, and other health professionals.
* Using effective communication skills to support quality patient care and foster team trust and confidence.

Key Selection Criteria
* Current registration with AHPRA and completion of an Adult Life Support Certificate.
* Experience managing a broad range of acute medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, stroke, and sepsis management.
* Experience in adult and paediatric life support and effective patient triage.
* Medical experience in an acute environment demonstrating transferable skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within an emergency department team.
