Job Description
The Project & Opportunity:
For one of our Sydney based projects, we are looking for a Site Engineer to assist in the achievement of the required objectives of the the project
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor key construction requirements and implement prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers work
* Manage the verification of conformance for works under control
* Maintain all relevant project document control and records
* Manage temporary works design and ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained
* Ensure all works are controlled through approved inspection and test plans.
* Ensure all subcontractors have been advised of the relevant Quality Control requirements and applicable standards
Required Skills and Competencies
* Bachelor's Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or similar (Essential)
* General Construction Induction (White Card) (Essential)
* Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) (Desirable)
* 18+ months experience in Graduate / Site Engineer role (Essential)
* Experience working in the construction industry (Desirable)
The salary for this position is $90,000-$100,000.
