Border Express is busy and growing, and we're looking for solid MR Parcel and HR Tautliner Truck drivers to join the team in Salisbury South.
We've got full time roles available, Monday to Friday, doing local metro pickups and deliveries. If you know general freight and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.
These positions play an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.
Duties
* Local PUD work across the Adelaide metro area
* Driving tautliners and rigid trucks, pulling curtains and lifting gates and restraints
* Securing loads properly every time
* Completing PODs and paperwork on the spot
* Doing pre‐start checks and keeping your truck in good condition
* Working with the depot team to keep freight moving safely and on time
* Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation.
* Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations
Skills and Experience
* Must hold a MR or HR licence as a minimum. (Auto is ok)
* Minimum 2 years of HR driving experience with general freight
* Confident using straps, gates, curtains and other restraint gear
* Great local knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas
* Experience in multi‐drops essential with potential for hand unloads as required
* Current LF forklift licence would be an advantage
* Monday to Friday work – your weekends stay free
