About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Lead in Fighter (Hawk) team within the Aerospace organisation based in Williamtown, NSW. We are seeking Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who have either recently completed a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Avionics apprenticeship or have extensive experience in the Defence and/or Commercial Aircraft maintenance as a qualified Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
* Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnosis of avionic systems and components.
* Ideally experience with fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft in an Aviation Environment.
* Ensure maintenance performance meets all regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
* Be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, inspect, and diagnose avionic systems and components.
* Experience with fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft in an Aviation Environment is ideal.
* Ensure maintenance meets all regulatory and airworthiness standards.
* Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Avionics or equivalent is mandatory.
* Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance is required.
* Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Aircraft is essential.
