About the Opportunity
This role is a permanent part time role working every second Sunday at Fairfield Hospital. Work in an acute hospital providing priority cover across a range of wards including ED, MAU, neurology and elective orthopaedics. Work as part of an excellent Allied Health team who support access and flow on weekends.
What you\'ll be doing
Provide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
Demonstrated clinical experience in a range of inpatient occupational therapy assessments and basic equipment prescription
Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver\'s licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
