We're looking for a commercially driven Senior Sales / Project Manager to help drive growth across Western Australia's mining, industrial, construction, marine, and heavy equipment sectors. This is a new role within the company. This role will initially work closely with Operations, and as the role develops, we look to build a sales team.

With over 20 years' experience in the hydraulic industry, Fluid in Motion designs, manufactures and installs hydraulic and lubrication systems to customer requirements supported by both workshop and field servicing and installation activities. Located in the Perth Southern Metropolitan area, we service the oil and gas, mining, construction, earth moving and maritime industries.

About the role
This role is designed for someone who wants more than a traditional sales position. Over time, the successful candidate has the possibility of transitioning into a hybrid Business Development / Project Management role, taking ownership of customer outcomes from opportunity through to delivery.
You'll work closely with operations and leadership to identify opportunities, win work, manage relationships, and support project execution across hydraulic service, hose, fittings, engineering, marine support, and maintenance solutions.
Your focus will include:
* Taking our current part sales sector and developing, growing, expanding to reach a major division within the company
* Developing new business opportunities across Mining, Industrial, Construction, Marine, Offshore, and Infrastructure sectors
* Managing and growing existing client relationships
* Conducting client visits, site meetings, port visits, and solution discussions
* Preparing proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations
* Working alongside internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Supporting shutdowns, maintenance programs, vessel support scopes, and reactive service opportunities
* Identifying long-term growth opportunities within customer accounts
* Contributing to operational and project coordination as the role evolves
We're seeking someone with:
* 3-5 years' sales or business development experience
* Exposure to sales within Mining, Industrial, Construction, Marine, Mechanical, Hydraulics, or related sectors
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* The ability to work autonomously and within a team to manage a sales end-to-end pipeline
* Commercial awareness with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Confidence engaging with supervisors, maintenance teams, procurement, marine crews, and management
* A willingness to be hands‐on and involved operationally where required
* SimPRO experience would be desirable
* A current 'C' class driver's licence and National Police Clearance are also essential for the role
Highly regarded:
* Experience in hydraulics, hose & fittings, fluid power, mechanical services, marine systems, or engineering solutions
* Existing WA industry network
* Exposure to offshore, ports, maritime, or vessel operations
* Experience managing projects or coordinating service delivery
