Job Description
We are looking for a hands‐on Sales Representative to join our Cairns branch, working closely with the Branch Manager and local customer base.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being on the ground and involved in the business whether you've come off the tools or have experience in sales, parts, or customer‐facing trade environments. Your practical knowledge, customer focus and willingness to get involved will be key to success. You'll spend your time building relationships, supporting trade customers and providing solutions.
You'll be part of a close‐knit, experienced team and play an important role in the day‐to‐day success of the branch.
This is a permanent full‐time position, with an immediate start available.
What You'll Be Doing
* Building strong relationships with local trade and industrial customers
* Promoting and selling specialist bearing and driveline products
* Understanding customer challenges and providing practical, real‐world solutions
* Supporting existing customers and identifying new opportunities in the local area
* Managing and growing a local customer base
* Working closely with the Branch Manager and branch team
* Contributing to branch performance, customer satisfaction, and team success
* Following company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards
This role could be ideal if you:
* Have previous experience on the tools (automotive, mechanical, industrial or similar), or
* Have worked in trade sales, parts, or customer‐facing roles, and
* Enjoy dealing with people and building long‐term relationships
You'll also bring:
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Practical problem‐solving ability
* Willingness to learn product ranges and systems
* Pride in doing the job properly and supporting your team
Sales experience is helpful but not essential — product knowledge, attitude and work ethic are highly valued.
