The opportunity with us as Software Developer

Driven by recent success and growth, we are looking for a Digital Solutions Consultant to join our high‑performing Digital Delivery Team. You may choose to be based in our Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide office for this role. Reporting to the General Manager, Digital Solutions, the role gives you the opportunity to be hands‑on with consulting and interaction with Woolpert clients, both on site and from the office.

This is a technical and consultative position where you'll work within the wider Digital Solutions team to ensure delivery of quality solutions, on time and on budget for Woolpert customers.


Responsibilities

* Performing deployment, configuration, and support of VertiGIS suite of products (Geocortex / VertiGIS Studio)
* Configuring and supporting ESRI suite of server & desktop products & applications consulting.
* Performing application testing and quality assurance on a project‑by‑project basis.
* Conducting performance tuning, improvement, usability testing, automation.
* Performing server / network administration and troubleshooting.
* Traveling as required.


Qualifications & Requirements

* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline; computing science, software engineering or geomatics sciences.
* 3+ years of experience / exposure in GIS or spatial‑related commercial roles.
* 3+ years of experience in database and cloud services.
* Considerable experience with at least one of the following ESRI technologies: ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro Desktop, ArcGIS Online.
* Proven ability to be self‑sufficient and work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Substantial experience in enterprise IT environments, in particular Windows Server and Microsoft IIS applications.
* A solid understanding of web service technologies and web GIS in particular.
