Allygroup is seeking resumes from lawyers who are interested in supporting Commonwealth agencies with legal work related to the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.
Suitable candidates will need to have the following specific experience:
* Commonwealth Royal Commissions, Boards of Inquiry, major public inquiries, or integrity investigations (preferred).
* Otherwise, large scale large litigation involving multiple parties/stakeholders and extensive documentation.
* Advising on administrative law, PII, Cabinet‑in‑Confidence, legal professional privilege, confidentiality regimes, statutory secrecy provisions and data/intelligence related issues.
* Document management and reviews, drafting witness statements, assisting with evidence.
* Understanding of Commonwealth and law enforcement decision-making, governance, and accountability frameworks and experience advising senior-level Commonwealth officers
You will also need to have baseline and above AGSVA-issued security clearances.
